Katie Horton
Children's Ministry DIRECTOR
Katie has been working at Jacob's Well since 2017. She oversees children from birth to 5th grade. She oversees Sunday morning nursery and classrooms, our Wednesday night Awana program, Vacation Bible School, and various community outreach events throughout the year. About Katie
Katie and her husband Dan grew up in the metro Detroit area and lived in various places until the Lord brought them to Green Bay in 2013. They have three children Amos (2010), McKenzie (2012), and Patrick (2015). We enjoy being outdoors from going on hikes/walks, fishing, hunting, boating, swimming, and playing various sports.

What do you do in you free time?
- I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing pinterest projects, or reading a book preferably with a lake or ocean view.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
- James 1: 2-4, 19-22, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing...Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."
If you could meet anyone in history who would it be?
- I would love to meet Harriet Tubman and hear her life experiences and gain insight to her boldness and faith.
